Milne Foods currently have a position available for a Financial
controller with overall responsibility for accuracy and reliability of
financial accounting numbers for the company on a daily, weekly, monthly
and annual basis.
Improve, format and structure management accounts and practices that
capture the business strategy, relevant KPI’s (financial and
non-financial) and provide sufficient but succinct narrative to allow
the organisation to make decisions effectively.
Ensure monthly management accounts are reported in accordance with
business deadlines.
Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of costs and revenues.
Define, improve and drive on-going improvements in tracking and
reporting processes for the business.
Support the budgeting and re-forecasting process for company revenues
and costs and cost centers to ensure deadlines are achieved.
Oversee company cashflow forecast presentation.
On-going liaison and interaction with other areas of the business.
Liaise with the external auditors.
Perform financial analysis and planning (strategy) through collaboration
with the management team on technical and commercial objectives,
operational strategy and the financial tools to support decision making
in this process.
Other duties as assigned by the Managing Director from time to time.
Skills:
Qualified Financial / Management Accountant
